What gets reviewed
Not everything on this site needs clinical review — the raw nutrition chart is a data lookup, checked against our sourcing standards. Content that makes a health-related recommendation is held to a higher bar:
- Diet-specific ordering guidance (e.g. lower-sodium or higher-protein suggestions)
- Any general wellness or "healthiest option" framing
- Claims that connect a food choice to a health outcome
Reviewer
Raza
Raza researches and fact-checks the nutrition figures and ordering guidance on this site against the sources listed on our sources page — public nutrition data, USDA references, and peer-reviewed research where cited. Health-related claims are checked for accuracy and updated when sources change.
How the review works
- Content is drafted and fact-checked against the sources described in our methodology.
- Anything making a health-related claim or recommendation is sent to the reviewer above before publishing.
- The reviewer checks claims for accuracy and flags anything overstated, outdated, or missing important context.
- The review date is noted on the relevant page. Content is re-reviewed when the underlying nutrition data changes materially.
